Brunch, booze and burgers aplenty await you and your old man this Father’s Day. Restaurants, bars and local businesses across the area are gearing up to celebrate on June 17. A peek into this year’s offerings include discounted beer, scotch flights, indulgent brunch and lunch dines, and even the chance to go indoor skydiving.

The Diplomat Beach Resort’s beachside restaurant will hand out complimentary burgers on Father’s Day. All you’ve got to do is dine with your family and purchase at least one entree. After munching on a burger and a milkshake, spend some time at Bristol’s free arcade, located near the front of the restaurant, or on the Diplomat Landing Marina, where there are free games such as cornhole, ping pong and giant Jenga. The free burger special runs from noon to 3 p.m.

Facing the Intracoastal Waterway, expect an all-you-can-eat buffet with bottomless mimosas and bloody marys.
